Scottish folklore tells of the Selkie, seal women captured by fishermen and brought on land. Years go by as she hunts for her fur in human form, desperate to return to the sea. She bears human children and loves them deeply, but yet the sea still calls her. One day she finds her fur and can finally return to her true home. A wake is held by her land dwelling family to mourn her passing, feared drowned at sea in the storm. The sea ripples as she pops her now seal face up to check on her children as they play on the beach.
